This Bulldog Wants A New BFF

Try to resist that face. Just try.

PSA: Dogs rule.

(We’ll conveniently ignore the fact that a lot of them also drool, because mostly they rule.)

Obviously, we’re particularly fond of bulldogs, and we’re not even going to justify our bias. When you meet Sally, you’ll understand why we’re so head over heels for these faces that only a mother could love (that is, if you aren’t already obsessed with Gracie or these bullies in need of a helping paw).

THIS is Sally. Everyone, meet Sally. Sally, meet everyone.

Sally was rescued from a high-kill shelter (we can’t even talk about that) by All 4 Paws, and is currently hangin’ with a foster family. She’s a three-year-old spayed bulldog/boxer mix weighing in at 50 pounds of lean muscle (yoga, probably). She’s leggier than your average bully, which is perfect for all of the walks she loves to take. We hear she’s a pro with the leash!

By all accounts, Sally is nothing but adorable, sweet, social, and loving with humans and other dogs alike. She loves being the center of attention (diva, anyone?) and butt scratches. She’s even proven herself friendly with a cat! Clearly, she’s open minded, too.

Sally is ISO of a forever home, and we have a feeling she’d make an amazing companion pooch. We’re so honored to be profiling this lovable lady — along with the amazing work of All 4 Paws — on the blog today. If you’re interested in learning more about Sally or her pals, you can contact the rescue org here, or learn more about the adoption process on their Web site. We promise that we won’t even hold it against you if you’re looking at potential furry friends who aren’t bulldogs.

All 4 Paws Rescue is an animal rescue organization based in Chester Springs, PA that offers rehab and sanctuary to animals that need it. All breeds are welcome, and each animal finds a temporary home with a loving foster family while they wait to find their forever family. Most of the animals rescued by All 4 Paws were saved from “death row” in high-kill shelters and auctions. Thanks to the help of volunteers, all pets are socialized and loved (hard) in preparation for their placement in a new home!
